Applications can be submitted three times a year and are assessed by the HGIS Advisory Committee for international projects.
The closing dates for submitting applications in 2010 are:
15 January, April 1, June 15, October 1
Contributions can be requested for:
Events such as exhibitions, symposiums, lectures, debates, workshops or other small-scale presentations
Translations of Dutch Publications and periodicals or Audio-visual productions
Different criteria, both formal and in terms of contents, apply to each type of project. These are outlined in the explanation that accompanies the application form. In addition, it is assessed whether there is sufficient professional expertise for the project and whether the objectives and proposal are in line with each other.
A project should:
Present Dutch architecture and urban design internationally and/or promote the dissemination of knowledge about Dutch architecture and urban design abroad;
Be innovative in its form, content, or collaboration;
Establish or maintain collaboration between a Dutch and foreign organisation;
